The AXO PADLOCK continues where the 1991 version started…at the front of innovation, leading the way in construction and setting the trends in fit and function. The PADLOCK is one of the few mx gloves to utilize Genuine NASH Clarino® on the palm and finger tips. Clarino is wear resistant, soft and tacky even when moist. The outer of the PADLOCK features an over the top wrist closure. This type of closure pulls the palm snug instead of cinching the cuff and wrist only. 4 way stretch Spandex is used on the cuff with a Slip Fit™ knuckle pocket. The sonic welded TPR flexes over the knuckles and is welded to a vented Airprene panel. The fingers are covered with a color fast breathable sublimated Poly-Nylon. Short, non-restrictive Lycra constructed finger fourchettes are combined with a “Hour Glass†shaped palm side finger for complete freedom of flex. Sticky printed graphics are screened to the Clarino palm while a second layer of perforated Clarino adds a touch of padding and protection. Constructed in full sizes and made to be completely machine washable.

Initially I was please with this glove but now very disappointed.
This glove looks great and has been very durable, I machine wash them once a week and have over 300 miles in them and they are still looking new, however... after destroying my hands with debilitating blisters in my last two races I have to say the designer was not a rider.
I was trying to figure out why now, after years of riding without blisters, do I now have bleeding hands at the end of a race.
Looking at the palm there is a little triangle with the axo logo and no leather padding. This just happens to be the area of your hand that gets the most pressure and most abuse yet with this glove there is nothing there to protect your hands. this has to be fixed for next year, I cant be the only person who has had this issue, look at any racer's grips and the outside of the bars will be the most worn area on the grip, the exact spot missing padding on this glove.
